ABOUT THIS SHOP
Things I would have wanted on the hardest day of my life.
Rebuild with Rhett started with a journal I made for the version of me on Day 1. It's growing into something bigger.
What this is.
Rebuild with Rhett is a small, slowly-growing shop and project by Rhett — more than five years sober, after three DUIs, multiple rolled vehicles, and a level of blackout drinking that had quietly become routine finally made the math impossible to ignore. Everything sold here is something I would have wanted on the hardest day of my life, made by someone who actually had that day.
It started with sobriety journals — honest, substance-neutral, written by a real person, designed to read on your phone and journal in your own notebook. No 12-step pressure. No religion required. Just one honest question a day from someone who's been there.
A little about the body part.
I was close to 300 pounds at eighteen, nineteen. Yo-yoed through my early twenties between 230 and 245, out of shape and undisciplined. Didn't start working out until I was in inpatient treatment — group trips to the local rec center, stairmaster for 20 minutes as hard as I could go, then a couple miles on the little indoor track above the basketball courts. After rehab I lived half a mile from a gym and just kept showing up. No personal trainer. No coach. Just slowly tweaking it over five-plus years.
Today I'm in the low 210s, leaner than I've been since middle school, running 6 miles at a sub-7 pace on a good day. The full workout split, the drop-set scheme, and the slow build for someone who's never done this before are coming as part of the next chapter of this project.
What's coming.
Over time I'm adding more — different recovery resources, possibly some physical pieces eventually, maybe a community or a course down the road. The thread that connects all of it is the same: things for the people who are on Day 1, or in Month 3, or at the year mark — and for the people who love them.
If there's something specific you wish existed in the recovery space, I want to know. The journal got made because I needed it. Everything else will probably get made the same way.

A note on how this was made.
The story, the handwritten journal pages, the photos, and the voice are mine. I worked alongside AI tools to organize the structure, draft the daily prompts, and shape the design — but the honesty is real, and the experience is mine.
If you're early in sobriety, or someone you love is, I'm rooting for you. You're allowed to be the version of you on Day 1. That's where we start.
